Housing Partners
By working alongside property partners, we ensure families with children have the tools, support and accountability needed to thrive in their new homes.
Housing families helps children succeed
While children attend Positive Tomorrows, their parents work with their Case Manager and Rapid Rehousing Specialist to overcome homelessness and rebuild their lives.
We need property owners who are willing to rent to Positive Tomorrows families
Even if on paper they may not meet all the typical requirements, you can trust that the family will be backed and supported by a housing case manager at Positive Tomorrows.
Thoughtful selection
We do our best to find the right match based on the rules of the lease and client’s capacity and needs.
Landlord Mediation
Someone objective to call when a tenant issue needs a resolution.
Supportive Transitions
In instances when a tenant must move out, we work with both parties to make it as quick and painless as possible. In some instances, we’ll share repair costs and help fill the vacancy ASAP.
Ideal Property Locations
Ideal properties for partnership fall within our transportation boundaries, but even homes outside these boundaries can help our families.
Our fleet of vehicles transports kids to and from school every day as far as NW 50th to the north, MLK to the east, SW 29th St. to the south and Council to the west.
Be Part of the Solution
If you’d like to talk more about how you can support our efforts to prevent and reduce family homelessness by becoming a housing partner, contact our Director of Family Support, Kelly Berger at (405) 556-5082 or kberger@positivetomorrows.org.
Support our Housing Fund
Our Housing Fund helps families secure and maintain stable housing. It gives us the flexibility to respond to each family’s unique situation and remove barriers that stand in the way of getting or keeping a home.
We use it for expenses like security deposits, first month’s rent, and application fees—helping families move into housing and reduce the risk of returning to homelessness.
