Education Programs Manager
The Education Programs Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Education, supervising classroom assistants, and organizing and overseeing the Education and Extracurricular Programs of Positive Tomorrows. The Education Programs Manager provides leadership and supports classroom assistants in meeting the programmatic goals, helping to develop and implement academic and enrichment activities for students, supporting and monitoring volunteers during extracurricular programming, establishing a cooperative and effective working relationship with students, parents, staff members, and collaborative partners.

Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant provides support to the President/CEO and the Leadership Team, ensuring efficient and timely operations of the administrative, leadership, and governance functions to support and enhance the work of the organization as outlined in the Vision Statement, Mission Statement and Strategic Plan. The Executive Assistant maintains communications with the board of directors and other VIPs. They are also responsible for certain organizational record-keeping as well as communications with the contract IT administrator and other vendors.

Facilities & Transportation Manager
The Facilities and Transportation Manager is a highly valued and active member of the Positive Tomorrows team, responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operations of all company facilities; student transportation and food service. The manager will work closely with other departments to support the company’s operational needs.

Classroom Assistant
The Classroom Assistant (CA) provides vital support to teachers and other staff in the provision of services to students at Positive Tomorrows. The CA assists the teacher in providing an educational atmosphere where students experiencing homelessness have the opportunity for academic, social/emotional, and physical growth.
Under the guidance of the lead teacher, the CA is responsible to provide a well-rounded classroom experience for each child and will step into the teacher role from time to time, in the absence of the teacher.

Grants & Development Coordinator
The Grants and Development Coordinator is responsible for writing grant proposals for unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects and submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant-funded projects. The Grants and Development Coordinator is the primary manager of the fundraising database, entering data, creating donor acknowledgment letters, creating reports and queries and maintaining accurate development donor files. The Grants and Development Coordinator assists with outreach and presentations in the community, including United Way activities, to increase the exposure of the organization and recruit volunteers. The Grants and Development Coordinator manages a small portfolio of donors and various special event responsibilities.

Elementary Teacher
A teacher at Positive Tomorrows is the primary educational service provider of the organization and therefore must maintain a visionary, progressive, and evidence-based approach to educating students. The teacher is responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students experiencing homelessness have the opportunity for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth. The teacher is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that employs an arts-integrated approach and will result in accelerated academic growth in each student.
Teachers at Positive Tomorrows are responsible for focusing on the teaching of Math, Reading & Writing, Social Studies, Science, Handwriting, and Spelling to students at a variety of academic levels and social abilities. The simple view of reading is the model Positive Tomorrows utilizes which incorporates the components of the science of reading (phonological awareness, phonics and word recognition, fluency, vocabulary and oral language comprehension, and text comprehension). Study skills and appropriate behavior are also taught in the classroom.

Bilingual Case Manager
A Positive Tomorrows Case Manager assists with the enrollment of new students, works alongside parents to set and achieve goals, and facilitates care of student families during their tenure at Positive Tomorrows. Provision of care includes securing housing, being a liaison between the education staff and families, creating spaces that promote empowerment, accessing resources, and building community to help families rebuild safe, stable, and nurturing homes for themselves and their children.
The Bilingual Case Manager provides direct support, referrals, and advocacy for services such as housing, employment, healthcare, and education in a manner respectful of the diversity and unique needs of Spanish-speaking individuals and families. This individual will also work with some primarily English-speaking clients.
