Thank you for your interest in volunteering!
You will soon receive an email from JD Palentine verifying your background check completion. Once we receive your results, we’ll review your application and follow up. If approved we will reach out with the next steps to get you started as a full-time volunteer.
Want to cover the cost of your background check?
Our background check processing fees range from $6.50 to $20. Any level of support will help us keep our kids safe and allow us to recruit new volunteers.

How It Works
Volunteers must fill out an application and pass a background check to work directly with our students.
Once forms are processed, volunteer training is scheduled – typically one hour during a weekday.
Volunteers are scheduled for a shift based on highest needs and areas of interest and can start making a difference.
The approval process, from application to training, typically takes about 2 weeks.
