A New Look: Celebrating 30 Years

Positive Tomorrows is thrilled to celebrate its 30th year of serving children and families experiencing homelessness. This fall, the school will roll out a refreshed logo to usher in a new decade of growth.

The logo, generously designed by Ackerman McQueen, features the signature Positive Tomorrows blue and gold stars. The main star represents the forward motion and progress of students and families, with three smaller stars representing Positive Tomorrows’ three main programs: Education, Family Support, and Extracurricular.

This year, the school also celebrates its 30th anniversary. Established in 1989, with just two teachers, several other staff members, and eight children in attendance on the first day of school, the organization has come a long way.

Today, Positive Tomorrows employs nearly 30 staff members and achieved an enrollment of nearly 70 students on the first day of school in 2019. In the past 30 years, the school estimates it has served over 5,500 students.

This October, the Positive Tomorrows will move into a new facility that will nearly triple its capacity and increase grades served. Learn how you can get involved and be part of the next 30 years!
